Holly A.M. Lewis is a senior paralegal with decades of experience managing the documentation and processes of closing commercial real estate transactions and pursuing complex business litigation. Her early working life included stints as a cashier in a large home improvement store and as “yardboy” in a construction equipment rental center, as well as paralegal assistant jobs. Joining a construction and real estate focused law firm was a natural fit after she earned her degree at UC Berkeley in 1990.

Ms. Lewis worked with Michael J. Flynn (and his partners and associates) for 25 years before his retirement and now primarily assists Brian Pedersen and David Tillotson in their representation of real estate investors and small businesses. In the litigation arena, she is highly skilled at managing and analyzing large quantities of produced documents and other evidence—with or without specialized litigation support software—so that the attorneys on the case can more easily focus on the most critical facts and testimony. She has also prepared attorneys for hundreds of depositions and has assisted at the counsel table in two trials.

In the transactional practice, Ms. Lewis efficiently handles drafting contracts, forming business entities, and coordinating the closings for lease, financing, and purchase and sale transactions. She does this for properties ranging from single family homes and small office or retail buildings to multifamily housing with hundreds of units. Ms. Lewis is also a commissioned California Notary Public.
